This project focuses on naming the orcas of the Baja California Peninsula to support their research and conservation. Giving them names helps us recognize them as individuals, and these names have already been used in scientific publications.
Our active campaign against the Saguaro Project, which represents a serious threat to whales in the Gulf of California due to the transport of liquefied natural gas in vessels 300 meters long.
We aim to raise awareness about the reality dolphins face in captivity and contrast it with the life they lead in the wild, through education in various spaces: conferences, school talks, ocean trips with an educational ecotourism approach, social media, documentaries, and campaigns in collaboration with national and international organizations.
